Higher Ground is honored to welcome Former NFL Coach and Seattle Seahawks Ring of Honor Quarterback Jim Zorn as our 2019 afternoon keynote!

Big announcement today. Something has arisen that will prevent Brock Huard from being able to join us in person at Higher Ground 2019. But because Brock is Brock – a man of his word and of integrity – he called in a favor from a good friend of his to speak in his place: Former Seattle Seahawks Quarterback Jim Zorn. (Brock is still planning to be ‘present’ at Higher Ground through a special video presentation about his family’s visit to meet their Compassion International child.)

Afternoon Keynote Jim Zorn
Best known in the Pacific Northwest as the star quarterback of the inaugural Seattle Seahawks football team from 1976 to 1983, Jim Zorn’s NFL career spans 27 years, 12 seasons as a player and 15 years as a coach, including two seasons as the head coach for the Washington Redskins. Around the Pacific Northwest, Zorn has become one of the all-time favorites of local sports fans, being inducted into the State of Washington Sports Hall of Fame in 2008.
