Returning from our 2018 conference by POPULAR demand, we are excited to welcome back to our 2019 Higher Ground main stage local football great and co-host of KIRO radio’s 710 ESPN morning sports talk show – Brock and Salk – Brock Huard!! Following his days as an award-winning quarterback at Puyallup High School and the University of Washington, Brock was drafted by and spent 3 years with Seattle Seahawks. Beyond the field, Brock came to faith in junior high and received profound mentoring from his youth pastor. Brock’s testimony is full of inspiring stories and insights of the many deep and transforming friendships that have impacted his growth as a Christ follower, both on and off the field. At Higher Ground 2019, he will also share about his own family’s experience as they traveled to meet the ‘daughter’ they have sponsored through Compassion International, a Christian humanitarian organization dedicated to the long-term development of children living in poverty around the world. Brock’s transparent, approachable style will inspire every man in attendance to seek new ways to put feet to our integrity as we continue to grow in our faith.
