Something BRAND NEW FOR TEENS at Higher Ground

We heard you, loud and clear!

We heard the feedback from our dads LOUD AND CLEAR after Higher Ground 2018: your teen sons need less sitting, more moving, less downloaded info and more engagement. We heard, and we’re delivering:

Introducing Our ALL-NEW TEEN EXPERIENCE

The Climb at Higher Ground will be a separate main stage experience for young teenage men designed to construct a Godly definition of sexual integrity and illuminate the hazards they’ll face and resources they’ll need to reach that Higher Ground.

Here’s How It Will Work:

Teens will gather with dads/adult men at the 8:30 Morning Session for welcome, worship and announcements. Then, guides will walk them to their own main stage room which will feature purposeful activities, discussion groups, and thought-provoking multi-media specifically designed to provide them with a compelling vision of how to live out their biblical masculinity RIGHT NOW as young men.  After the morning main stage time, dads will be dismissed first from the adult main stage gathering to pick up their teens at The Climb and proceed to their desired morning breakout session.

AFTER lunch and our second breakout session rotation, teens will join their dads in our closing general session featuring 710 Radio ESPN’s Brock Huard.

SPECIAL NOTE FOR DADS: you are welcome to attend The Climb with your sons, but we also encourage you to be ok letting your young men attend The Climb on their own if they’re comfortable flying solo. If you come with them, we encourage you to plan on observing, rather than actively participating, so as to let your son(s) stretch his/their legs a bit in the group activities.  There will be plenty of breakout and ‘debrief time’ for those impactful father-son conversations Higher Ground is known for.

Same HIGH CALIBER Breakout Sessions, Same GREAT Father-Son Discussion Opportunities

Since our inception, Higher Ground has featured breakout session specifically targeted to Teens and Fathers/Sons.  Previous attendees have shared about how these sessions have provided a framework for deep, Father-Son discussions about sexual integrity, exercising wisdom with technology and building a deeper faith:

This conference was fantastic!!! I came with my stepson and we really connected through the different seminars.

Great bonding time for a father/son.

My son and I will be applying what we learned here immediately.

Mike’s (Olson) direct, no-holds-barred approach really resonated with my son and I.

Higher Ground 2019 will feature MORE BREAKOUT OPTIONS for Teens/Father&Sons to choose from, all of which will encourage important father-son dialogue:
